I purchased 2 pairs of Aldens and added rocker soles and then a steel shank.
Soon after my initial purchase, both pairs began to squeek. They "de-squeeked" them but the squeeks quickly returned. I have returned them 5 times. Each time another excuse is made and another attempt to de-squeek. Today I picked them up again and was told that adding a shank causes squeeks 9 times out of ten. They refused trying again and now I am stuck with 2 very expenseve shoes that both squeek. They are unwearable.
