Clear Lakes Animal Wellness, formerly known as Brewerton Veterinary Clinic, has been caring for animals in our community for 20 years. As a Small Animal Hospital, most of our patients are canine and feline. In addition, we also see a range of pocket pets including ferrets, rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs.

Clear Lakes Animal Wellness is an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). As an accredited member we are dedicated to providing excellence in small animal care. Our hospital is evaluated regularly by AAHA to ensure that we meet or exceed the associations standards of excellence.

These standards cover nearly every aspect of our hospital, including surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, exam facilities, pet health records, cleanliness, emergency services, dental and nursing care, diagnostic imaging and anesthesiology. AAHA standards are recognized around the world as the benchmark for quality care in veterinary medicine. Approximately 17 percent of animal hospitals in North America are accredited by AAHA.

Clear Lakes Animal Wellness is also an accredited member of the New York State Veterinary Medical Society (NYSVMS). The NYSVMS upholds the standards of veterinary care in our state and the Veterinary Facility Accreditation Programs (VFAP) is a voluntary program of veterinary facility inspection and accreditation. One-third of all veterinary practices in New York State have demonstrated their commitment to excellence, in equipment, record keeping, appearance, maintenance, and quality patient care by becoming VFAP Member Hospitals.
