Family Owned and Operated
A. Amendt was founded in 1955 by John and Phyllis Amendt. They developed a comprehensive professional and personalized approach to Integrated Pest Management. It is continued today under the supervision of John Amendt, Jr., who holds a degree in Urban Pest Control from Penn State.
Integrated Pest Management (I.P.M.)
We believe that successful control is more than chemical warfare. It is cooperative integration of many elements. The program we design for you will contain the proper mix of the following factors: communication, inspection, identification of pest(s) and damage, application of pest management procedures, and sanitation.
The Professional Approach
Our service technicians are highly trained specialists. They are state certified and receive continual education from our consulting entomologist, Thomas Parker, Ph.D, to stay on top of constantly changing conditions, technologies and techniques for total control.
The Personal Touch
In pest management, familiarity breeds control. Our extremely low turnover rate means you’ll have the same technician time after time. He’s on long-term assignment to identify and be responsive to your special needs.
The Amendt Warranty
We will provide extra service at no extra charge to resolve all continuing pest problems as specified in your contract, as long as sanitation requests have been met.
