Kazuri African Beads
October 18th: Starting on October 18th, we will have a Kazuri African Bead Trunk Show. The beads will be here through November 20th. Kazuri beads are beautiful, one-of a kind clay beads and are hand made by women in Kenya, Africa. These women, often sole providers for their families, are paid fairly for their work and enjoy favorable working conditions.
October 6th: Bead Breakout's Fourth Bead Challenge - to benefit the American Lung Association: This bead challenge will be introduced at 6:30 on Wednesday, October 6th during Ladies' Night. Bead challenge "kits" and information will be available until we run out of kits - limited number available.
November 5th: Bead Breakout is now participating in Rochester's First Friday. First Friday is a monthly citywide gallery night that encourages collaboration between non-profit, universities and commercial venues in Rochester, NY. The event occurs the first Friday of each month from 6-9pm and features artists throughout the city. We will be featuring the art of Debora Bartlett, who will be available to discuss her work and inspirations.
November 18th, 19th, and 20th: Bead Breakout's 2nd Anniversary Sale! It will be a time to celebrate, so there will be specials and lot of fun! Look for another email and postcard for more details.
