THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL IS JUNE 26TH. All routes will be run on a 3 hour delay. We will depart the school at 1 pm for the return home. If you are going to summer school we should have your information and payment by now. You will be informed as to your bus stop and pick-up time within the next two weeks. Have a Great Summer!

History of Vallo Transportation, Ltd.

American Studies and Bronx Science Students, if we do not have your PASSPORT photos, you will not be issued a bus pass. If you do not have a bus pass you may not ride the courtesy after school activities buses.
Bronx Science students, you must submit a copy of your program to us to be able to ride the 3:50 pm SGI bus. If we do not have a copy of your program, you will have to have a bus pass and wait for the 5:15 pm bus.

Also Bronx Science and American Studies Students, we have not had enough interest in a route from Brooklyn to Bronx Science for the 2010/11 school year. We will, however, continue to explore the possibility for the future. If you are interested, send us an e-mail with BXSCI-BROOKLYN in the subject line for more information.
Queens Students attending Brooklyn Tech. We are exploring the possibility of providing bus service from Queens for the 2011/2012 school year.

Vallo Transportation traces its origins to the hard work and dedication of Eddie and Tony Vallone. Ed and Tony were the owners of Parkway Bus Service, which provided school bus and event transportation services to New York City school children. Parkway merged with two other companies, Columbia Bus Service and Syken Coach Services, to form Pioneer Bus Corporation in 1954.
Pioneer grew to provide commuter bus services, in addition to its core school bus service. By the 1970's Pioneer was one of the largest privately held bus service firms in New York. Pioneer's success was based upon a customer service ethic -- long before it became fashionable -- and an eye towards innovation. For example, Pioneer provided commuter bus service where municipal buses or subways did not run, and created charter service to regional sports facilities from under served areas like Staten Island. Ed Vallone's children, Linda , Phil, and Ed, jr. continue the tradition of excellent service for a new generation of passengers.
