Welcome to the office of Frederic R. Kunken, D.M.D.. The office has specialized in the care of infants, children, and adolescents for the past 29 years. We also offer care for our patients with special medical needs and the physically and emotionally challenged. In- hospital treatment is provided when required at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset and Long Island Jewish Medical Center.

Dr. Kunken was appointed Chairman of the Department of Dentistry and Chief of Pediatric Dentistry at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York in 1973. He is also Chairman of the Department of Dentistry at North Shore University Hospital, Glen Cove,N.Y. and was appointed Acting Chairman of Department of Dental Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He also serves as Consultant in Dentistry at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre,N.Y and South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, N.Y.. Dr.Kunken has held academic appointments at Cornell University Medical College, New York University College of Dentistry, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of many organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Society of Dentistry for Children. He is also a Fellow of The American College of Dentists, The International College of Dentists, The American Academy of Dentistry for the Handicapped and the American Academy of Hospital Dentistry
