Due to changes in the Internet business over the past few years, Modem Madness was forced to shutdown after nearly 20 years of providing Internet access service in the Jamestown area. While we are all deeply saddened by this decision, there was simply nothing left for independent providers to be able to offer between the FCC legalized monopolies of the phone and cable companies. Modem Madness recommends NetsyncIP from DFT Communications to continue your Dialup or DSL service, as they are the only local company left in the area who can provide these services. If you had Cable or Wireless Internet service from Modem Madness, these services will continue automatically and uninterrupted through EagleZip.com (see below).
If you have not already made arrangements to receive your Dialup or DSL service with a new service provider, please contact DFT Communications as soon as possible at 483-8008 or 1-800-642-4294 outside the Jamestown area to begin the transition process. You can also visit DFT Communications in person at their 332 Fluvanna Ave. office in Jamestown.

If you have our Broadband Wireless or Cable Internet services, or a webhosting or e-mail only account, you don't need to do anything! Your current service will automatically continue through EagleZip.com. You do NOT need to change service providers or any settings on your computer.

The Modem Madness computer repair and sales department has been a part of EagleZip.com since May of 2008. EagleZip.com will continue offering all-inclusive computer repairs, onsite service, and new computer sales just as they have been, and just as Modem Madness has for the past several years.
