Danny's Cycles visiting Abbot House Campus

HITTING THE ROAD on their bicycles has always been a favorite pastime of the young men on our Irvington Campus, but last month our kids took their knowledge of bicycles to the next level at a special workshop presented by Dannys Cycles.

Bronx-born Joe Diomede worked in local bicycle shops in Westchester County helping to fund his worldly excursions throughout the globe. His travels lasted thirteen years, and were mostly done by bicycle. He recounts his tales of discovery in "Cycles of a Traveler" which brings us across the American hinterland and up to the roof of the world. His story-telling style feels as if he is recounting these journeys to each one of us personally. Enjoy the ride!
