Welcome to the website of the Scarsdale Community Baptist Church (SCBC). We hope to meet you personally soon. Meanwhile, the information in this site will provide a brief perspective on the life and ministry of this unique church.

Our vision statement (above) is an important description of the church in both concept, present reality and future purpose. Also, the word "community" in our name is important because the ministry of this congregation is to resist artificial barriers and to welcome everyone. Participants in our church community represent many Christian traditions and backgrounds. Our fellowship also includes some who are not explicitly Christian, but find participation in the church's life spiritually meaningful. We are confident there is something here for you! >Chancel Choir Welcomes New Members!!!
The Sanctuary Choir has resumed rehearsal for the fall season and welcomes new members. Rehearsals are at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays and sometimes after the worship service as well. Please speak to David Jutt, organist/choir director, if you are interested

The Scarsdale Community Baptist Church Nursery School is a nonsectarian program which welcomes all three and four year old children of the community. Director Elaine Ferraro will be pleased to discuss the program with you and to arrange for a visit.
