Louis E. Diamond, Esq. has been admitted to practice law in New York State since 1974 and during that period of time has handled literally thousands and thousands of criminal and matrimonial cases in eight states and seven federal jurisdictions. He is a two-term past president of the Staten Island Trial Lawyers Association and has sat on numerous Bar Association committees including the judicial screening committee interviewing candidates for judgeship.

Mr. Diamond has had his career highlighted in special editions of Playboy Magazine, The Sunday New York Daily News, The Sunday Staten Island Advance, and The Sunday Asbury Park Press along with dozens of articles in Vanity Fair Magazine, New Yorker Magazine, and other publications documenting his numerous acquittals in homicide including death penalty, racketeering trials, drug conspiracy, and numerous organized crime trials etc. His record has included "front page cases of the year" such as the Bensonhurst Murder trial, the Richard Biegenwald serial killer trial, and the Colombo crime family "war" trial. He was "immortalized" in the famous Wu Tang song "Knuckleheadz".
Mr. Diamond is probably the only attorney on Staten Island to have won a death penalty trial along with acquittals in homicides and racketeering and drugs cases in New York, Florida, New Jersey and numerous other States and Federal jurisdictions. He has represented clients on divorces involving multi-million dollar equitable distributions as well as international custody battles

Mr. Diamond also has his own cable TV show on community cable of Staten Island for over fifteen years in which he has had guests including numerous judges, members of law enforcement, district attorneys, federal prosecutors, and notable authors of crime reporting publications such as John Connolly and Jerry Capici of "Gangland".
Mr Diamond has guest lectured at St John's University in its Criminal Justice courses for 25 years and has judged the American Trial Lawyers National Moot Court competition for Law Schools for 10 years.
