She is a member of numerous other prestigious professional organizations including the International College of Dentistry, theAmerican College of Dentistry, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the Long Island Academy of Odontology and serves on the boards of the Rockville Centre Education Foundation and the Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
Dr. Epel was appointed the General Chairperson for the Greater Long Island Dental Meeting that was held April 19-21, 2005
