Meet Dr. Giacobbe
Andrew P. Giacobbe, M.D., is a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
He is also a member of the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery - the membership of which includes a select group of board certified plastic surgeons specializing in cosmetic plastic surgery.
He specializes in all aspects of body contouring and facial rejuvenation procedures. Body contouring procedures include breast augmentation, breast lift, liposuction, and abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). Facial rejuvenation procedures include facelift, neck lift, brow lift, rhinoplasty, upper and lower lid blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), otoplasty (ear pinning), laser resurfacing, Botox, Juvederm, Restylane and other fillers.
Dr. Giacobbe is a past president of The Buffalo Plastic Surgery Society. He has served the Medical Society of Erie County on various committees including the Nominating Committee, the Bar Liaison Committee and as Chairman of the Peer Review Committee. Dr. Giacobbe currently serves as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. He also is a member of the Medical Advisory Board of Canisius College. He has also served as President of the Baccelli Medical Society.
Dr. Giacobbe has provided expert commentary on plastic surgery to local media including WBEN-930, WNY Live (WKBW-CH 7), Eyewitness News (WKBW-Ch 7), Buffalo Matters (Channel 29) and The Buffalo News (newspaper).
He earned his medical degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biological Sciences and he served his internship at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo, and his otolaryngology residence at SUNY at Buffalo. He completed his plastic surgery residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
Dr. Giacobbe is board certified by two boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties. He earned his board certification in Otolaryngology in 1992 and board certification in Plastic Surgery in 1995.
