University Emergency Medical Services is a non-profit practice plan that provides medical staff for the emergency departments at Buffalo General Hospital and the Erie County Medical Center. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality emergency care available in an environment committed to patient satisfaction. We are also dedicated to our mission of teaching and research in emergency medicine. Nearly 75,000 Western New Yorkers received their care in our emergency departments last year.
University Occupational Health has signed a contract with Kaleida Health, Western New York's largest healthcare provider, to provide fit-testing services for up to 4000 employees.
Erie County Medical Center received initial state approval to move forward with a $7 million expansion of its emergency and surgical operating rooms, officials at the region’s Level I trauma hospital announced today.
Camp 911 is a safety clinic for the children of Erie County. We are in our 9th year of providing safety techniques to children across Erie County. Each year over 240 children attend our free camp.
Office of Prehospital Care
The Office of Prehsopital Care (OPC) provides medical direction and education to EMS agencies in Erie and Wyoming counties. OPC also acts as the program agency for the Wyoming-Erie Regional EMS council.
