When your soft tissue (muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves, connective tissue) is injured, a physiological change to the tissue structure occurs. That's normal. Unlike most other doctors you have met, Dr. Leon Aibinder not only assesses your joint mechanics, neurological function, and muscle strength, but he also thoroughly examines the specific relation they have to your desired function.
Dr. Aibinder's specific treatment program incorporates the latest and most advanced soft tissue techniques, aiming to not simply remove the pain, but to reverse the tissue change, and normalize it—allowing you to return to your normal activites. Dr. Aibinder is multilingual, speaking both Russian and Hebrew.
Dr. Aibinder was graduated from New York Chiropractic College in January 2002 and thereafter joined Dr. Wayne M. Winnick & Associates in September 2002, where he has and continues to hone his therapeutic skills. He has since been determined to continue his education in an attempt to excel in his profession. As a chiropractic intern in 2001, he became fully board certified in Active Release Tecniques® (ART), and has recently been promoted to the level of ART® Instructor as of July 2006. In addition, he is board certified in Graston Technique®, Trigenics®, proficient in Transverse Cross-Friction Massage, and Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy. He has also completed over 200 hours of training in Southern California Health Science University's chiropractic rehabilition program, which is taught by the most influential manual therapists in the United States and Czech Republic. Dr. Aibinder has completed a rigorous 100-hour certification towards becoming a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP).
Dr. Aibinder is currently utilizing a doctor assisted spinal decompression system, known as Cox® Technique. It is a safe and highly effective manipulation for disc herniation, stenosis, and degenerative joint disease of the spine, as well as other spinal related conditions.
