Just For Kicks Martial Arts is the place where the professionals come to train. We are one of only two facilities that the Hudson Valley Renegades players were allowed to train at for the 2009 season, and we are the only one that teaches martial arts. Just For Kicks is also the choice for martial arts & conditioning for the Hudson Valley Horrors professional roller derby team.

Just For Kicks Martial Arts has had the honor of being recognized with the prestigious Century Gold Award. This award is only given to the Top 100 Martial Arts Schools in the country each year by Century Martial Arts Supply. This award recognizes excellence in teaching children, teens and adults martial arts and character lessons. Just For Kicks was a winner of this award in both 2007 & 2008.

Just For Kicks Martial Arts is the leader in kids karate instruction and character development in the Hudson Valley. We serve the Fishkill, Beacon, Newburgh, Cold Spring, Wappingers Falls & Hopewell Junction area of the Hudson Valley.
We at Just For Kicks are devoted to developing our students into strong and confident leaders, as well as solid martial artists. We accomplish this through our character development program. In a teaching system based on mutual respect, classes focus not only on physical activity, but also on the life skills necessary to be a successful, productive member of society. We are so dedicated to helping your child grow into a leader, that we have a Nationally Renowned child psychologist Dr. Robyn Silverman developing our life skills curriculum.
Just For Kicks is also strongly tied to the local community.
We run programs for the local Boy & Girl Scout troops, the Fishkill Correctional Facility, the Local Police Departments, the local elementary schools in both the Beacon City & Wappingers Central School District's. Just For Kicks is the Town of Fishkill Recreation Departments choice for Martial Arts in the Hudson Valley. We are also very involved with many local daycare centers and local summer camps - including all four Town of Wappingers Summer Camps and both Town of Fishkill Summer Camps.
Just For Kicks is also very involved in local charity work.
We run fund raisers throughout the year for Toys for Tots, The Fishkill Food Pantry, Project Action (Juvenile Crime Prevention), Special Olympics, Dutchess County ARC and the American Cancer Society. Just For Kicks has been a Major Sponsor for the last 4 years at the Cancer Societys Step Into Spring Event.
We also pride ourselves on the professionalism of our staff.
Our teaching staff is dedicated to producing the highest quality of instruction. They are all Certified black belts and are all multiple-time US National Champions. Instructors receive over 100 hours a year of ongoing training in martial arts instruction and in our character development program, as well as being CPR & First Aid Certified.
