Established in the 1940s by the Laidlaw family providing high quality metal craftsmanship and supplier of truck and automotive springs. In 1959 the Petrecca family and the Forte assumed the business and has continued through the years to this day and is now operated by Nicholas Petrecca Sr. being the third generation. Laidlaws is in the process of passing it on to the fourth generation Nicholas Petreca Jr. (his son) and Christopher Paione (his nephew).
Our services range from basic railings and custom designed railings and staircases manufactured in iron or aluminum. Laidlaws has been at the same location since it's inception in 1940 with our offices and factory located in Staten Island, New York. Laidlaws has worked with restoration work performed at Sailor Snug Harbor Music Hall with quality craftsmanship for New York City Parks Department, New York City Housing Buildings and produced quality architectural metalwork for private home owners and corporate businesses.
Laidlaws is a family run business. All installation, designs, fabrication of your metalwork desires are supervised by a family member. Our motto is "If Nicholas Sr would not accept it at his house do not expect the customer to accept it" I would like to thank our repeat clients and customers for giving us a great reputation for quality and on time delivery of our products.
