CNY Resource Recovery, Inc. started in 1996 with the aquisition of Elman Recycling, Inc. A company that had been in business for 47 years in Syracuse, New York.

Since then revenue and volume has increased five-fold and operations have been consolidated from two locations to one indoor recycling center with 40,000 sq. ft. of production and storage space.

CNY Resource Recovery services customers of all sizes both in our facility and via container service and pick-up at your location.

CNY takes in materials from the public or commercial customers at our facility which is equipped with ground-level access, loading dock access, roll-off container dumping area and nearby truck scale.
