Dance Teachers Network (DTN) was formed with three of the most important constituent groups in our industry in mind: students, teachers and studio owners.
DTN is proudly led by Edward Simon, Tonja Dias, Teka Byrnes, and Tim Haller, with over 125 years of collective industry experience and passion for excellence in dance instruction. Whether you are a student, teacher or studio we are here to help you achieve your dance goals and desires.
For Students...
DTN knows that students desire fun lessons, easy instruction, and quick results. Our teachers seek out and use the most effective teaching methods to satisfy our students' desire for a clear and personalized plan that supports their individual goals while adapting to their individual scheduling needs.
The niche DTN support system - When you dance with us, you are also supporting young entrepreneurs. Almost all of our teachers have built successful careers working for dance studio operators, but are eager to start their own journeys as independent business men and women. Upon joining our collaborative support network, DTN asks that teachers resolve any commitments to prior employers in a professional manner. Once on board, we augment the knowledge and experience the teachers have and prepare them for the challenging and exciting task of developing their own businesses, both through seminars and our mentorship programs. So go ahead - start an exciting voyage to release your inner dancer and become a part of a strong and encouraging support system for young dancers at the same time!
For Teachers and Studio Owners...
We have listened to ballroom instructors and studio owners around the globe and have learned that there is a yearning for a supportive organization that can provide the knowledge and training needed to help build a successful teaching career. DTN offers access to a community of instructors that provides insight to industry best practices and teaching methods. Whether utilizing our courses and seminars, or participating in our mentorship program that brings interested new students together with our motivated teachers, ballroom instructors and studio owners will be afforded the training opportunities that they desire through DTN. By engaging with the DTN leadership team that has over 100 years of combined teaching experience, you will gain access to successful tools and methods, resulting in financial growth and operational excellence in every area of your business.
