The Doris Leslie Blau Gallery has a broad selection of both new designer rugs and exceptional antique rugs available for rent.

Extra-Large Rugs, Large Area Rugs and Oversized Rugs. When a rug measures more than twenty feet (in width, length or both), it is considered as an extra-large rug. Large area rug or oversized rugs are interchangeable terms for extra-large rugs. Big floor coverings are the best  décor elements to make a proper statement. They cover large areas of the floor, providing you with cushion for the feet and ornament for the eyes.

The gallery was founded in 1965 by Doris Blau who became a legend in the world of design with her outstanding collection of avant-garde and incomparable pieces, which were always made the gallery a bit offbeat. It was with great conviction that she turned the gallery over in 1998 to Nader Bolour who has continued to utilize the same criteria that put Doris on the map.

Our rugs have appeared in Vogue magazine and in advertisements for Victoria’s Secret and Ralph Lauren Polo. Two rugs from our collection were rented by HBO for their show “Mildred Pierce”.
