Mr. Horn has been a practicing attorney since 1995. Although Mr. Horn initially had planned to practice elder law upon completion of law school, he became interested in immigration and nationality law because of the troubles his brother had when he was trying to have his foreign-born wife attempt to enter the United States to attend Mr. Horn’s wedding.
Mr. Horn worked in three major New York City law firms that specialized in immigration and nationality law. For one of those firms, he also ran the contested and uncontested divorce practice. When Mr. Horn joined a small law firm in Long Island in 2003, not only was he responsible for all of its immigration litigation, he reviewed the applications and attended the bulk of the examinations for permanent residence and citizenship, and he also had co-responsibility for the criminal and family law cases in the office. Further, at the Long Island firm Mr. Horn created a contested divorce practice.
