Since 2011, Protective chiropractic has provided outstanding customer service and chiropractic care to the residents of Clifton Park, Halfmoon and beyond. As soon as you walk into our office, you will be welcomed by our warm, friendly staff and be invited to relax in our comfortable environment.
In order to provide you w/ the best possible service, and assure the smoothest first visit possible we encourage you to call our office ahead of time and request all the necessary intake forms to be sent to you via email prior to your visit.
After the completion of a brief tour and filling out of the necessary paperwork, a thorough examination will take place including testing your reflexes, testing your ability to turn and to bend and collecting a history of your problem. We examine when your problems first began and treatment sought prior to visiting our office. To supplement this examination, other standard neurological, orthopedic, posture and physical examinations may also take place. Of course, nothing will take place without your consent.
Your specific case may require us to take X-rays of your spine to get a complete understanding of your condition. X-rays help us rule out more serious problems and assist us in developing the most effective treatment plans for you. Most people are amazed when they see their films and can most often immediately identify their underlying issue themselves. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.
Once all the information and examination results have been collected and performed, a follow up visit will be scheduled. The doctor will provide for you his recommendations, targeting the 3 most common questions patients have: Can you help me? What do you recommend that I do to get better? And lastly, how much is it going to cost? After discussing your history and health goals and examining your spine and imaging, we will discuss the best treatment options and lifestyle recommendations with you. If it discovered that you have a condition that would be best suited with another provider, the doctor will issue you the proper referral.
Once you have met with the doctor and he determines you would be a good candidate for chiropractic care, he will advise you with a treatment plan that will be designed for you to fit your specific needs. That may include spinal adjustments, physical rehab, percussion therapy and/or soft tissue therapy. Treatment is always considered to be an interactive experience allowing you to express any concerns about the style of adjustment or treatment procedure.
Protective Chiropractic works hard to minimize patient costs. We accept most major insurance carriers, Medicare, HRAs and credit cards. Once Dr. Cintron outlines the best treatment plan for you, our staff will review w/ you the cost of care, set up an affordable payment plan, go over insurance benefits and specify out of pocket expenses, if any.
