Dr. John Howell 

Dr. John Howell graduated from Tuskegee University in Alabama with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. After graduation, he worked in Manhattan at the Henry Berg Memorial Hospital where he obtained valuable experience in small animal medicine and surgery. He also assisted the ASPCA in their regulation of the New York City carriage horses. 

Dr. Howell began his first practice at a vet hospital in Mt. Vernon, NY. Approximately six years later, he opened Yonkers Animal Hospital. Dr. Howell’s ‘petside’ manner has endeared him to the many clients that entrust Yonkers Animal Hospital with their beloved companions. 

Dr. Howell has a wife and two children and is an avid tennis player and enthusiast.
