As 2010 quickly draws to a close we are busy preparing for our 2011 auction season. Despite the gloomy economic predictions, 2010 proved to be one our busiest years ever. We have some incredible material in already for 2011 but we need more great items and collections to keep our buyers happy. We have planned a Fabulous Estate Sale in January highlighted by a Fresh to the Market Oil on canvas by Boris Anisfeld, 2 Original Escher Lithographs, Important Watercolor by Francesco Guardi with full provenance and a wonderful Jean Dufy Oil. 2011 will see our usual Specialized Toy, Train, Toy Soldier and Doll Auctions. As always we hold at least 3 Stamp, Coin, Paper Currency and Rare Book Sales. We Still offer 2 sales devoted to Original Comic Art, Comic Books, Animation Art and Pulp Magazines. Our Specialized Maritime Sales will Continue as well as our Pop Culture, Rock n Roll and Hollywood Memorabilia Sales. Our Sports auctions will be busy and our February Sports Sale will be highlighted by a newly discovered Boxing Gem...An 18kt Gold and Black Opal Pendant presented to Jack Johnson in honor of his Heavyweight Title Fight defeating Tommy Burns in Australia, Dec. 26th 1908. Just Arrived...Cigar Store Indian "Chief Poke in the Nose", circa 1890's Attributed to Samuel Robb. This Cigar figure stood guard in front of the Original "Schweizer Sporting Goods and Cigar Store" in Hoosick Falls, New York.

We would love to work with you in adding your material to any of our great sales or we will gladly discuss customizing an auction to build on your special collection. For 25+ years Weiss Auctions has grown into one of the premier Collectables and Estate Auction Houses. We treat our customers respectfully and treat all our consignors with prompt attention and timely payments. Our consignment terms are considered to be the most reasonable in the industry, we still maintain one of the lowest buyers premiums amongst larger auction houses and we never charge added fees or hidden costs to our consignors. We hold worlds records in almost every area in the collectables field, yet we do not hesitate to handle moderate to lower end items as well.

On Behalf of all of us at Weiss Auctions we want to thank you for your continued support and extend our wishes for a happy & healthy holiday season and a prosperous New Year. Please call us at 516-594-0731 or email us at either phil@weissauctions.com or emily@weissauctions.com to discuss any material you may have to offer. (See Below For Upcoming Sales)
