My family and I have been going to the Ripe Tomato for years.Always great, nothing too sophisticated or crazy, just good americana fare with some German and Italian flare mixed in. Pork Schnitzel is excellent, and their specials are always good. Excellently run non-chain location... Link to Yelp Reviews

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area (especially during track season when downtown Saratoga is packed with diners. As a local, it's nice to step away from Broadway during August). I've eaten here probably more than a dozen times and never had a bad experience. The food is just excellent and I like the little bar area for a happy hour drink or business meeting. I highly recommend the Ripe Tomato. Link to CitySearch Reviews
