Dori's Music Studio has been in business for over 10 years. We provide music lessons along with a large variety of music books, accessories, and instrument rentals. The studio has eight teaching rooms, a waiting room and currently includes students from Brockport, Churchville-Chili, Greece, Hilton, Spencerport and other school districts. During the school year, the studio offers private lessons, as well as, multiple opportunities to perform.

Jillian Lauritzson will be teaching Recorder Karate in the Studio. It is a method that gives a colored belt to each leveled song that is learned in the lesson. A test is taken for that level when the student has mastered the new pitch, rhythms, and entire song. When the student passes the test they receive their appropriate colored belt to tie on the end of their recorder bell. Call the Studio for details.
Private recorder lessons are also available in the Studio.

Private lessons are available for the fee of $19 per half hour. Lessons are on a weekly basis primarily during the evening, but daytime lessons can also be arranged. The studio offers lessons in:

Do you have a child with physical, mental or emotional limitations? We currently offer individual or small group lessons structured to fit the individual's needs. These lessons are offered by Belinda Martz, a board certified music therapist.
Budding Musician Lessons
We have a program for a child that wants to play an instrument or sing but is not ready for formal private lessons. Depending on what your child's interests are, he or she will learn recorder, piano, or general music voice (not actual voice lessons...because they're too young to grasp the concepts). Each child will:
Learn how to read music and musical concepts
Fee for the private lesson fee is $19 per half hour.
Offered to students who are ages 5-9 years old.
Preschool General Music Class
This class is for the young tot who loves to sing and make music, ages 3-5. Class size is 3 - 5 students and are offered weekly, mornings, afternoons and evenings, Monday through Saturday. Call now with your availability and we'll build a class around your tot's schedule.

Class Fee: $65 per month plus $7.95 plus tax for required book Music for Little Mozarts. Minimum of 2 students per class.
