Dolly Hinckley has been a mediator since January, 1984.
She received her training from the late John Haynes, the "guru" of divorce mediation, and from Stephen Erickson, a respected trainer and mediator.
Dolly became a mediator as a direct result of her experiences as facilitator for educational and support groups she co-founded in 1976 and 1977. She often heard stories from group participants relating their negative experiences (and those of their children's) when the adversarial separation process took hold.
She became a mediator because she felt, and still feels strongly, that mediation is the better way for separating and divorcing couples to restructure their family and finances.
Her expanded practice now includes:

Marriage mediation (couples wishing to stay together)
Gay/lesbian issues
