Swarthout Coaches, Inc. has been providing Ithaca and the surrounding areas with safe, reliable and comfortable motorcoach transportation since 1950. From its humble beginnings, Swarthout Coaches has grown from 1 school bus to a fleet of 12 deluxe motorcoaches. Our 47, 55 and passenger motor coaches can be chartered for your senior citizen club, school groups, employee associations, churches or any kind of group that requires transportation. Our motorcoaches are equipped with DVD's & Video Monitors, plus Comfortable Reclining Seats with foot rests, On-board Restroom, PA System, Radio & Tape Decks and large tinted windows that offer a commanding, panoramic view of the surroundings from your seat!!!!
Passenger safety is of the utmost concern at Swarthout Coaches. Our motorcoaches are inspected every 6 months by the NYS DOT and are on a strict Preventive Maintence schedule, performed at our garage, by our own highly skilled mechanics. Our drivers are required by the Federal Highway Administration to have a CDL license, undergo a routine physical and be randomly drug tested. NYS DMV also requires that our drivers be Article 19A qualified and finger printed.
