Amherst Orthopedic Therapy Associates was founded in 1978 by Peter Schaus and Kenneth Trezecki.  The original clinic was located in Amherst, NY, hence our name.  The office moved to North Buffalo in 1981 and to its present location in 1988.  An expansion of the clinic in 2001 provided increased exercise facilities, equipment and an in-ground therapeutic pool in order to facilitate early rehabilitation for all orthopedic injuries, arthritic conditions and chronic pain syndromes.
